Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire resides in a quiet area of Montreal Island, which is known as West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of diverse communities. Many who've never heard of it often think it is a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel is said to be born on the West Island. But this is not true. Brugel was raised on Courtice close to Oshawa located in Ontario. She was determined to be a professional dancer, but due to an explosive expansion, she surpassed every dance partner she met. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed that she wore heels and was six feet and one inch tall. When I outgrew my male companions, I quit. A lot of former dancers go on to acting, and in Brugel's situation, it was the nudge of a high school drama teacher which encouraged her to go in that direction. The teacher encouraged her to take part in an audition in a school production. It was her choice to take on the lead part of Anne of Green Gables after she auditioned for. She was awarded an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to attend York University's Theatre Program, where she graduated from the program in 2000, earning a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Since then, Brugel has been in over 60 productions both large and small. The most notable was the time she was cast as Rita in The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actor in the season 1 which was viewed only at times.
