In 2008 and 2010, she reprised the character in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. In the 80s she played lead roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. Her most well-known role is her part in the comedy drama movie La Dolce Vita. The film was both a critical and commercial success and won the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. She was born in Sweden, Skane. She was a model prior to when she began her acting career. She ultimately won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. She moved to the US in the early 1990s, where she began to appear in films in minor roles. Her first film credit was in the role of Venusian on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. She soon won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
